Teachers @ Seville Bayside Montessori
Lisa Good....2-6 year Montessori Classroom Lead Teacher
My name is Lisa Good. I have been involved with Montessori Education for over 25 years. I received my Montessori Training from NCME/AMS for ages 2 1/2 - 6 years of age in Mesa Arizona back in 1987. After spending some time out of the classroom to stay home with our children, I have been back in the classroom for the past six years. My family and I moved to Florida from New Mexico and I am happy to now be teaching at Seville Bayside Montessori. I personally feel that a Montessori education is the best one a child can have. It provides such a good foundation to last throughout their lives.
Infant Specialist: Maggie Rohrer
I am the co-owner of Seville Bayside Montessori as well as the facility director. I have a passion for teaching children and have worked with children ages 0-8 in a variety of capacities for the past 35 years. I have my Bachelor in Early Childhood Education as well as specialized classes and certificates in: developmental early intervention, special needs, behaviour intervention, training in screening and assessments and more. I am a passionate believer in Montessori as it is the perfect educational plan in which children can learn and grow at their individual pace. Our goals at SBM is to encourage independence, teach and give respect to every child as well as develop a love of learning that will follow the children throughout their entire lives. I work with each parent to create an individualized educational program for their infants to achieve their milestones and developmental skills. Movement and language is the emphasis in my classroom as well as learning through play. I work on setting a strong foundation with each child in which all future learning and growth is dependent upon. Each child is an individual and I love to discover their individual learning styles and create programs in which they will be successful and reach their full potential.
